A custom home with additional accessory structure located in Wasco County, Oregon, just outside of Mosier. Wood and steel construction with a stucco, concrete, and IPE wood finish.

Hidden in this 14-acre, heavily forested plot of land, the house’s subdued color palette obscures the structure from the highway; However, visitors are surprised by a modern, faceted, double-height great room as they make their way up the driveway to the main entrance. The color-palette, window sizing, and height limitations are influenced by its location within a preserved scenic viewing location.

In collaboration with Surround’s creative director and founder Mark VanderZanden, my work included producing all technical plans, artistic renderings, digital models, construction details, and grading plans.
